Find tan(x) and cos(x) if sin(x)=-5/9 and tan(x)<0
This is a homework problem that I found, so it shouldn’t be super difficult; I solved it pretty quickly.

tan(x)=-5/2√14

cos(x)=2√14/9

It's been eons since I did any trig, but if you remember the definition of tangent and can still visualize the trig circle, it's easy to nuke it out...

Trig is fairly easy

Compared to many math divisions

Calculus is the hardest imo

Where’s zeroith when you need him?
Avatar of EscherehcsE

I always had the hardest time with partial differentials.

we need zeroith

Zeroth was on my tail when I did the math problems thing

Actually, calculus is simple. It's just when you start to expand it , it becomes complex...(That's why it's my favourite after conics)
