Because she was by far my best friend on this site, and probably always will be. We made a deep emotional connection, and even though she did lie about herself like, a lot, I know that deep down she’s a good person with an amazing personality. Others wouldn’t understand, and I can understand that.

I didn’t get to know like you did, but every time she comes in to check I can see how good friends you guys were.
and you can’t judge someone by their actions. Hazel is probably just as sad as us lying to us, but all because she lied, doesn’t mean she’s a horrible person on the inside.

I wholeheartedly agree with that. You also have to keep in mind that she was experiencing real depression and likely lied for attention from us. While that's hurtful and all, we should realize there's a deeper meaning behind wanting attention online.
