Sometimes my opponent takes a "vacation". Perhaps circumstances so dictate, but I become suspicious now and then. As today, when my opponent took a vacation with 39 minutes left on the clock, and being a rook and two pawns behind. Why could he (for it is a he) just resign. Why drag on a deifinetly lost game? What is this tendency to be so reluctant to accept that you have lost?
It is very unsporting and futile and as with an increasing number of things in our society just living with it is accepting it and without some kind of challenge where will the bad manners and the ignorance end.
