My question is: Will this thread become a debate consisting of insults like this subject always does, or will you manage to somehow keep peace?

As long as Christians keep being ignorant and keep quoting bible phrases to prove that science isnt real or something, this discussion will keep going on.

Well, I don't know about my understanding of the universe as being "gospel" per se, but I do believe that both ends of the liberious scale are ludicrous: both God creating creatures and the Big Bang starting it all.

If God created creatures, who created God?

What triggered the Big Bang to begin with?

When exactly did time start? How does one experience presence without time? How does God and things super-living the singularity experience it?

Surely, things are without a higher creator of sorts, that they've always been and always will be?
