Books can be a lot more detailed and in depth than movies because movies can only really show what's happening, while books can get inside people's heads.

Books can get ideas across a lot better than movies can, and while movies are mostly just for entertainment, the right books can be entertaining and instructive.

books are more intellectual
Books tell a better story because it’s far more creative in that there are thousands of ways to write but only hundreds of ways to put a movie together. Books carry information better and are cross-culturally and nearly eternally impactful (think of the Bible, Marx’s Das Kapital, the Great Gatsby). Movies have almost no impact that is any bit comparable to books.

Movies usually are completely different from the book. If the author is good enough it literally feels like you’re in a book! It’s a weird feeling.
Fight it out here guys. I personally think books are objectively better
