Trying to get the sound back on my desktop - supposedly, the new Microsoft 365 update has caused many people to have problems with their sound. If you or any of the other young people have some advice, I'd love to hear it - we have tried EVERYTHING and the computer keeps saying that there are no problems. But there ARE problems - VERY frustrating! If you have any ideas, please write something on my forum - HELP!!!

I haven’t used Microsoft in a long time but when I did the same thing would happen to me. For me, it was always driver problems. I found and downloaded the old driver from Microsoft and had sound again. After that I set it so that the audio drivers would not automatically update and didn’t lose sound after that.

but, it could be a few other things. You’ve probably already done this but have you checked out the troubleshooter on microsoft website?

You may already have the driver you need. You should see a small speaker in the task bar at the bottom right of your screen near the clock. Click it and see if there is an up caret in the upper right corner of the pop-up volume display. If there is, click it and choose whatever device is not highlighted. That might solve the problem. Microsoft is notorious, and also eager, it seems, to screw something up with every update.

Well, per the torah, only one person per hole (each person has their own hole). BUT we can definitely dig them holes behind the mountain and stuff ‘em with the haters. That is regulation to the game and would be out of the FBIs purview.

It’s good to be in a hole sometimes. It doesn’t mean you will be in it forever. Sometimes it’s good to just take a break.
