Instead of a membership, please, consider adopting a guinea pig or a chinchilla. I mean, in the long term, you won't be a chess master lessons or not, but a friendly pet will bring more happiness to your life.

The answer to the question asked, is yes, anyone can gift anyone a membership. However, I think the question you meant to ask is, "Can someone gift me a membership?" A very different question. Unfortunately, I am unable to gift anyone a membership at this time. In fact, I don't have one either.
