Canvas got hacked, wth 💀💀🥀😭

Today I logged in to complete the last of my assignments in a college course and saw this:

So apparently Canvas’s parent group Instructure got hacked by a cybercriminal group called ShinyHunters and now the whole system is down. I wasn’t there when the message by the attackers were displayed, but for reference you can find it in Reddit posts and such ¹,². Now, basically all of us students and also the professors are at the mercy of these hackers.

I’m lucky to have submitted my english final 1 week early, but I have another course with a few assignments left…it’s due tomorrow too. Now what 😭😭🥀🥀

Does anyone use Canvas and any thoughts on this

My school's wifi got hacked couple weeks ago

the fact that I still have my old account from America and still get showed this basically tells me that Minnesota is also feeling it and I was going to remove my account as well, I might be cooked ngl
