I was taking about Bestone10.

The one you selfishly wanted muted

"Any way we can get Bestone10 muted.?    Clearly he has a dog in this fight.... a pattern of non compliance.."

You should read responses before actually replying. Anyway you seem quite biased yourself, considering you're in the fan club and you're always involving yourself in these specific forums.

I am biased. Just like you, that guy, the guy right over there, that girl, oh, that girl too.

If he deserves muting he’ll get muted. They should probably consider neutering some of these members too. Stop the next generation!!

It's amusing to see how so many different members have completely different versions of @itude in their minds. Though all of them seem to be based on their own interactions with him, so don't know which one's really accurate. Looks like he wore many masks...

Pulpofeira

One sure thing, he likes gambits.

Woollensock2
I thought mushy peas were his favourite ! 🤷‍♂️

Sorry. You are correct, but excessive cursing can be a tad annoying.

Something smells fishy to me.

Perhaps he ruffled the wrong feather's.

miss-k, welcome back!

so, the post right after yours here was someone stating you don't know what happened. some say he couldn't have done anything wrong and others insist he did. that's pretty much the point of the topic. if cc were transparent when meting out punishment, people wouldn't speculate.

ericthatwho

Could it be  this site does not know their hinder-holes from a hole in the ground as always they will not confirm it.

No the bunny would start a topic

Mystery is a sufficient if not necessary ingredient for drama. Mods try to remove the unnecessary drama but fail within the confines of the tight lipped site policies.  Probably legal insurance.

i doubt it. as a private site, they don't have to tell anyone why there were mutes or bans. but, people like us that are aware of the community at large notice that they are not only inconsistent but make egregious mistakes at times as it relates to muting as well as locking topics.

the whole six month mute is just plain stupid. it has been explained here that, when the site does that, they are basically asking for the member to beg forgiveness.

but, there is no recourse for us members when staff or mods lock our topics just because they don't like them. i've been down this road with both erik and shaun and their responses to my queries have been completely lame. i could post them, but then i risk a six month mute or a ban.

i had a mod threaten to mute or ban me if i kept pushing on why a topic was locked. how's that for a response?

@itude got on too many nerves but in the bunny's often misinformed opinion, the site is always more fun with a few resident narcissists wink.png  while he was confrontational and would not let go of the past, he did stand for freedom on his own terms & was ok in the bunny's books.  who knows?  if some of the members who carried baggage against each other, actually met in a bar with a clean slate they might have hit it off as the best of friends.

as for abusive mods, the bunny's limited experience is that such mods do get weeded out somehow - again this is not a transparent process if there is one at all.  those who somehow get in for the sake of power soon realize that it's hard community work that has no reward unless you actually enjoy community service and will take themselves out.

AlCzervik

batgirl was weeded out?

the site has changed, and not for the better, in my opinion.

there is a mod here that joined cc in march of this year-one stinkin' month ago. how in the world does that person recognize the community?

The Bunny is right. We need a Resident Narcissist. Unmute (or Unban) @itude.

petitbonom

Its all a bit like Will Kane  and the Miller gang here.

He's made it pretty clear.

They're just opening Itude.co.uk, they've said that many times before.

Reading what they write might be useful.
