Do you put more effort when you play against someone with whom your country is in rivalry with? Basically, for most of the people it depends on how politically inclined you are, but I noticed that I concentrate and play chess without music when I'm up against Turkish players. I'm interested, players from which country( or countries) you put more effort when you play?
I don't care about the country.
The most unusual player with who I played was one of the Vatican.
I thought it was the pope!
If I like the player I add it as a friend.
Most important than the country is the ELO rating.
Chess.com put users about 100 points above my rating playing against me.
If possible I abort the game. I always look for a player more or less like my rating.
Now you've infuriated him, seeing that the Pakis beat India in the T20 Cricket World Cup a week ago, and India lost again today.
It's okay...Australian grandmasters can't even participate in most of the championships. Haha
