Chess is not trying to “suppress” anything except for political debates.
Mods have made it clear- a forum respecting him is fine. An argument about politics is not.

C.c allowed lots of debate to go on with this topic just yesterday and only locked it after it died. Chess.com is handling this very well.
no… they locked one of the posts after the political discussion died down. people weren’t even discussing politics they were talking about chik fil a and random stuff when a mod locked it without reason
