Chemtrails - What Do We Think ?

I think this to be a very important topic and would like to treat it seriously. There are a few things I'd like to say but would like to know if there's any interest amongst the chess.com community.( I will block anyone being nasty/insulting on this...)

I'm convinced stuff is being put up there and am aware of several possible agendas - but do not know what agenda is the most significant. Possibly the greatest health issue facing humanity...

They don't exist. It's conspiracy stuff invented by people who don't know what chemistry is.

If substances were being spread, they could be detected in a few hours in a lab. You could even buy the equipment you need on e-bay and do it at home.

I've blocked Saintgermain. Although I disagree with Raspberry, he's presenting an argument in a civilised way, but I will defer responding until others have spoken.

What are 'chemtrails'? I consider myself reasonably clued up, well read and educated etc but I've never even heard of chemtrails...

You can get an HPLC for 2K dollars on e-bay. You can learn to use it in a month or so and then start detecting chemicals.

It's really not like the equipment needed to see if there are chemicals around is super-secret government stuff.

You know of contrails, left behind by aircraft? The chemtrail conspiracy theory says the longer-lasting ones are actually biological or chemical agents dispersed by aircraft for some usually nefarious reason.

Right, gotcha. That probably explains why I've never heard of it - I don't really "do" conspiracy theories.

It's a 100 % certainity that conspiracies occur - but not necessarily to the degree that some believe. A conspiracy is where two are more people collude for nefarious purposes. Without getting bogged down in a discussion on 9/11, either it was "The Arabs" or an "inside job". Either would be a "conspiracy". The word conspiracy however has taken on the perjorative definition of an idea not sanctioned by the mainstream media/Establishment. So when people say they don't do conspiracies, I respectfully suggest that they mean conspiracies not sanctioned by the media/Establishment.

Here is a talk from an ex US air force whistleblower. Just over twenty minutes long. There are many more for the interested person to be found.
