Chess.com Feature Request: AI Teacher with Enhanced Feedback
Hi everyone,
I'd love to suggest some exciting features for the Chess.com learning experience! I believe these additions would greatly enhance our ability to improve our chess skills through AI training.
Feature 1: Audible AI Lessons
Currently, the AI lessons provide text-based explanations. Adding an audible lesson option would be fantastic. This would allow us to learn by listening while commuting, doing chores, or simply taking a break from screens. It would be a more engaging and flexible way to absorb chess concepts.
Feature 2: Accelerating Speed Option for Lessons
Some players might already be familiar with basic chess principles. For them, the option to accelerate the speed of AI lessons would be a valuable timesaver. This could be implemented as a playback speed control similar to what's available for videos.
Feature 3: Post-Game AI Review with Explanations
After playing a practice game against the AI, it would be incredibly helpful to receive a detailed post-game review. Ideally, the AI would:
* Clarify the reasons behind specific moves made by both the player and the AI.
* Highlight your mistakes and explain the consequences.
* Suggest the best moves you could have made in certain positions.
* Analyze your completed moves and explain how they could have been improved.
This comprehensive feedback would provide invaluable insights into our gameplay and help us identify areas for improvement.
Overall, I believe these features would significantly enhance the AI learning experience on Chess.com. They would make learning chess more engaging, flexible, and ultimately, more effective.
What are your thoughts, fellow chess enthusiasts? Would you find these features helpful? Feel free to share your ideas and suggestions!
Thanks,
[arbianbisht]
