Chess.com plays Pokemon red [2] choosing a starter

We have decided the rivals name!

the only name with votes was "my arm itches" and that is not even a name but we follow our own rules here at the jimmydavis69420 company and we shall honor this name, but shortened so it fits into pokemon red.

    Next was the player characters name no one voted anything so i simply named it chess.

Then we spoke to mom and left the house as everyone does and soon finding chess in tall grass however professor oak stopped us and informed us we need a pokemon so now we must decide what one to take
