And the really weird thing is, non-spam posts get like only 1 - 1k posts, but word games goes through the roof.

Almost seems like the mods have a sadistic sense of humor. They let it go on long enough and at the last moment when the kids feel they're about to achieve greatness, whoosh.
Nothing like giving hope and then dashing it all down at the last moment.
Don't know folks but I think we might have underestimated the mods and have a lot to learn from them.

Amusing how some people can decry the content of the forums while also decrying the tool that gives them the power to actually change the direction of content in the forums. Although I suppose the Word game fans would be a bad fandom to annoy, since there are clearly more of them and better organised. I guess that makes it cowardice rather than ignorance
