I disagree. Removing a site where millions of people have fun is just wrong. Some people even have jobs here. And about the social media part, chess.com has a feature called “safe mode”, which prevents people from talking. And some people don’t have a real chess board to play chess, and can only play chess on here. So sorry but I disagree with you.

Even Bobby Fischer got bored with chess. He eventually began experimenting with 1e3 and 2 king to e2, but he still couldn t lose.
Just that it doesn't matter how good or how bad you are, you can still get bored with the game. There are limits to the enjoyment you get, even if you are winning.
Zach, not even 1% of ppl on chess.com are active on OTF, to most it is just a place to chill and play chess. Also, once you start getting good at chess you can't find ppl at your level in OTB chess, and the rating system in chess.com is literally a PERFECT place for that. Every hobby has some people who are addicted to it, but that doesn't mean every hobby should be removed from the face of the earth.
Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook is much worse at least your doing something educational here like using your brain to think. Social media in general is terrible for society.
