Flat earth is easily disproven by real senses! If you go up north, the moon is one way up, go south and it's another way up, go to the equator and it's sideways. This perfectly aligns with the globe and cannot be explained by Flat Earth. All you need to do is go travelling instead of lounging in your room watching flat earth videos.

having been in the contractor game for a while I have yet to see any floor installer , wood, tile, carpet etc. look up at a lighted chandelier - write some numbers down, then call the supply company to order square footages of materials.

That is because we have rulers. Let's say we have all modern thingamajoodles except rulers. With just 5 variables (for a rectangle, other shapes will need more or less) we can get the formula for the size of the room, and if you can judge distances well with decent accuracy then you can get a good estimate for all of the 5 variables, and use them to get the full area of the room. This may seem pointless and good eyesight is a deus ex machina but we're being held hostage and must only use the light and our eyes as measuring tools, and there's many people with decent eyesight. Sure it doesn't work well for looking at the moon but that question was never proposed. The proof for globe earth I proposed was not measuring a floor, but instead the shape of the earth. As for that, how could a flat earth explain my observations? The moon tilts when I look at it from different latitudes, if we assume that the moon isn't spinning in a very odd way (which is correct as this does not occur if you stay on one latitude), the only explanation is that the earth is tilted.

RCP - who knows what the moon is exactly - it is observably semitransparent - its not some dusty rotating sunlight reflecting rock ball spinning in perfect sync with a rotating globular earth so that the exact same face of the moon is only observable to every human on earth forevermore!

I have never observed the moon to be semitransparent. Also how do you know it is not a reflective ball rotating at the same speed as it orbits?
