I am not really a troll

To be honest I have always secretly suspected Batgirl of being a sort of post modern neo-classic troll with intellectual tendencies.

That is why I think BatGirl is a troll. She is not a negative troll, she is nice and write some good texts about chess.

However, if chess is all about trolling your opponent, who writes good articles about chess is a troll anyway.

That's DEEP!

Yes, you are a troll. But you are not a negative troll .

You are a not-intending-to-be-a-troll. You do not want to be a troll, but you are anyway.

First page!

ANOTHER PROOF THAT 90% OF ACTIVE USERS OF CHESS FORUNS ARE TROLLS!!

This is a typical post in the daily puzzle: "First Page".

This trolling has an abbreviation: FP !!!

The trolling is so deep, so strong here, then the trolls do it using abbreviations!!!

It seems like there should be a special word for being "not-a-negative-troll"? Surely there are mythological forest Beings who didn't live under a bridge?

Sitting-Duck

Personally I think of myself as a 'trawl' i.e annoying people across a vast spectrum. Trolls are too nit-picky.

The term that I have always used is "lighthearted troll," in contrast with "hardcore trolls," who are generally what people think of when the use the word "troll." Well... aside from when people use the term to describe someone who isn't realy a troll, but who is simply vocal about an opinion that is generally considered controversial.

Incredible. You are a scholar troll, because you write very well.

This is a strong level of trolling, because it is nice to read a scholarly and well-written text.

BatGirl has almost the same style, but you are more scholar.

You're not even a troll, Duck, in my view

Of course he is no troll. He is a provocator par excellence.

MarcoBR444

There are a lot of types of trolling:

I was thinking more of the MegaMind movie where the one pod ends up landing in a prison yard. Take away the MegaMind part and you are pretty much there.

if you look at the start of the first Predator film, where the spacepod peacefully approached earths atmosphere, then shot off to the stars having dropped one occupant off, you'll start to understand the Duck a bit better.

WOW! It is soooooooooo deep for me...

Yes, a typical troll of chess foruns.

Is there a chance that sitting-duck represents the greater part of the duck community, yet he's unique to us because we rarely see ducks posting on the Internet?

profmain

Once you define everyone as a troll, the word loses all meaning. There's a philosophical principle about that but I can't be bothered to look it up.

Or format it in bubbles.
