Chicken Prices are Going Up!

Don't tell @snoozyman, he'll have a stroke...

Our country is going to hell in a hand basket.

Beef and pork prices are rising a little, which is causing people to eat more chicken. Plus, companies like Tyson are planning on cutting back on chicken production some to put more upside pressure on chicken prices.

The stat I read was that, for the first time ever, chicken consumption in the U.S. is expected to exceed 100 pounds per person this year. My guess is that @snoozyman probably eats 300 pounds of chicken a year. :-)

Time to switch to shrimp

Feel bad for those watermelon lovers...

I still haven't bought any chicken. Someone ask @snoozyman what the prices are now...
