Automation and the ease of creation has not led to higher quality of art, it has only led to higher quantity. Quantity without quality is valuable for the producer but overall a burden on mass cultural identity. Culture is consuming itself in a spiral of stale self-refences reinforced by AI which cannot truly create a unique idea, but just mashes together countless examples of things it has already seen. AI is all hype while simultaneously being truly powerful--not at creating a better world, but at amorally creating the most things in whatever world it ends up belonging to.

It's insane because AI CEOs will sit there and hype up how great it is that people can create things more easily. Who wants more slop to sift through? The world would be better if media and entertainment were still gatekept by an in-group of professionals.
