You'll probably like the lore and alternate timelines of the Command & Conquer series; I think their timeline is even crazier than the Legend of Zelda series. On a related topic, the Command & Conquer Remastered Collection on Steam (Tiberian Dawn, Red Alert and all the Expansion missions and Special Ops missions) is pretty good.

Time for me to rant about something near-and-dear to my heart…
Alternate History!
It isn’t particularly complicated (at least in concept)- it’s a genre of fiction about how history and historical events might have happened if important events- known as ‘points of divergence’ or PoDs -had occurred differently or not at all- LIKE COMMUNIST ALASKA… BABYYY!!
Jokes aside, it’s actually fascinating because when scenarios are extrapolated by decades or even centuries… LIKE COM--
Anyway, some of my favorite Youtube channels on this subject (they exist I promise) are AlternateHistoryHub (who indeed made a video mentioning COMMUNIST ALAS-), Possible History and Vdentis (although I personally don’t think Jesus would’ve tried to annex Arabia into the Roman Empire before it even held Britannia IRL- which one of his thumbnails, I kid you not, advertises).
Now, all said, I’ve been thinking about doing an Alt-Hist (as commonly abbreviated) myself. If I get enough support, and I have the motivation and, more important, time, I’ll do a scenario on the Achaemenids winning the wars with Greece. If that sounds interesting to you, then let me know and if there seems to be a fair amount of demand I’ll start working on it. On a vaguely related note, the Empires Game vote and sign-up post are going to take a LONG time to make making the maps for them is harder than I would like, if anyone was wondering.
