So God won’t show as convincing evidence, but if we don’t believe we are punished. But he is also omni-benevolent. 👍

Well, we often post verses (as I did), not to prove the Bible but to reveal the truth that is in it. I could have just used my own wisdom or C.S Lewis' (which I did)... what does it matter.
The Bible makes claims. I could just as easily say Harry Potter “reveals truths.” But can I demonstrate it? No more than you can demonstrate the Bible reveals truths.
Especially if they were convinced to do so by an evil super genius.
Also didn’t god know all this tempting was happening to Adam and Eve- and he knew what the outcome would be- yet he just... did nothing and then punished us all for eternity because of it?
I'm shocked this discussion is happening anyway. They ate fruit; from a tree. The maximum god should've done is give them a written warning.
