It simply is not !!

Please read it, straightforwardly

There is no mention of intelligence or any similar quality.. is there ?

You would clearly like there to be, but if it isn't there, it isn't there

It simply is !!

I am reading it, straightforwardly.

It says that God understands everything. That is an indication of being all-knowing, and therefore intelligent.

You would clearly like there not to be, but if it is there, it is there.

Oh dear..please quote me exactly where understanding = intelligence

It seems to me that there is only one place, inside your head

And that is because you would like it to be so

What exactly is stopping this God eiither claiming to be intelligent, or others claiming it about him then ??

Nothing at all, is there !

And I am sorry but his alleged actions are not intelligent, letting "ex" murderers ,psychopaths and rapists in to his pad because they happen on their deathbeds to say "I believe" ,and he believes them lol, he's a clear fool !

Told you, its much more than say "I believe in Him"..ok?

According to google, intelligence is “the ability to acquire and apply knowledge,”. The Bible says God is all-knowing. This means he has acquired all knowledge there is. Being omnipotent, the Bible also says that God has the ability to apply that knowledge. Therefore, the Bible says that God is intelligent.

And why do you mind so much? You don’t even believe in the Bible, so why do you care about what it says?

Define thinkers.

People who have done nothing wrong except have the thought in their head that god does not exist.

We are naturally sinners from birth.  Have you even done something bad in your life? I HIGHLY bet you have. We all have! You cannot be saved until you recieve Christ in your heart.

I have not done anything that warrants being burnt for eternity.

You believe babies are sent to hell for the crime of being born.

Actually, I’m pretty sure that the Bible says that people under the age of twelve will automatically be taken to heaven if they die, whether or not they believe. Something about thirteen being an adult, I guess.

Well you or your colleagues should know, shouldn't you, can I have the exact biblical reference for that please, then I might believe it.

Is it in the appendix by any chance

I’m glad you asked. There is no specific Bible verse about this specific event. However, Jesus does say that the kingdom of heaven belongs to children. He also says that all the children should come to him. I can get you those actual verses, if you’d like. If that’s not enough evidence of children being allowed into Heaven, I’m not quite sure what is.

And at what age is that exactly ?

You see if there is no specific age, there is no guarantee..is there ?

And if there is no guarantee, this Jesus's words are meaningless..are they not ?

People in ancient Israel officially became adults at the age of thirteen. Thus, when Jesus said, “Children”, he was likely referring to those twelve and under, using the accepted definition for the word at the time. Therefore, his words do have meaning.

Hardly, what stopped him from saying 13, or any other age exactly then ?

Nothing of course, the twits who wrote the bible just never thought of this issue did they ?

Which leaves you scrabbling about to give some kind of decent answer.

Nice try, but it 13 isn't what he said..is it ?

When I say “children”, you know what I mean. When Jesus says “children”, we can figure out what he means. Only a fool does not know what a child is. If you’re incapable of figuring it out, then you’re not a very smart person.

Who else here doesn’t know what a child is? Anyone?

So you want me to believe a child magically turned into an adult/young man?

The bible is true because god says so because the bible says so, etc.

I’m not debating the truthfulness of the Bible with Gina. She asked me for a verse where God claims to be intelligent. I did.

Well at least you are diligent.

He may well be, but just as being diligent is not the same as being intelligent, neither is being understanding the same as being intelligent.

Sorry but they are two totally different qualities !

Ok, so God is a very understanding moron then lol ?

Ok I can accept that

You are aware that you just said an oxymoron, yes?

Because when the children departed one of them went up to jesus, had a natter, and walked away a young man.

I still don’t know what you’re talking about. Is this in the Bible? Where are they departing? Also, what’s a “natter”?

@ manatini

your ignorance of the facts placed before you seems to be almost boundless. Each of the points you make here has already been refuted earlier in this discussion. You should try saying something new every once in a while instead of forcing people to repeat their answers. 👍

Well ,once you get to the stage of  calling me a "not very smart person" as far as I am concerned there is no further point in "debating"with you, because you have gone beyond the point of intelligent debate, and progressed to the point of personal insult.

Good luck and have a great night

Erm, you’re the one who called the authors of the Bible “twits”, calling God “moronic”, and andbasicaillly disparaging everything that Christians stand for. I think that you’ve got the corner block on insults.
