The places i go to the most: Gym, Chess Club, and Church do not enforce mask rules.  You want to wear a mask?  That is up to you.  You dont want to get the shot?  That is up to you.  Not a single case of covid at any of those places.

Is their a virus?  Yes.

Are their certain segments of society that do need to be extra careful?  Yes.

Is the virus as deadly as we are lead to believe?  No.

Keep in mind that a certain orange someone said that under 100,000 deaths was the goal.  We're over a half million past that now...so the judged "deadliness" of the virus is relative to what individuals are reading/watching, but there's no denying it has killed as many people as the Civil War...and to borrow from Team America World Police...it's 9/11 times 200+.

To people who post videos.

When you post a link to a video, it would be helpful if you add some information about what the video is about.

Watching a video is time-consuming, but it´s only after we´ve seen the entire video, that we can know if we need the content of it. Usually, the texts on the thumbnail don´t tell us anything.

Personally, I´m learning enough about the anathema of misinformation and antivaxxers through this thread. I´m tired of listening to the repetitive arguments of those affected and the other people talking about them. Although, I will still read some of the texts on this topic, I don´t want to watch videos.

Videos are the lazy mans way of contributing.  And yes it would be nice to know what a video is about without having to invest my time on it.

Well me i'm tired of reading about peoples repeating the same BS  all the time and i love videos that show real witness that are in dramatic situations ( patients or nurses or doctors) that express their motivations or the context of their work or the very bad state of their hospitals). The videos i post are 99% of the time really short and if you do not have the time just avoid them.

Or maybe you do not like the content?

The text on the thumbnail say exactly was is in my videos.

My last 10 videos gave 10 times more info then you repeating the same BS all the time!

What did you contribute in the last month? more BS?

You are another one who do not like the content because it challenge your fragile point of view about not needing a mask in gym etc...

You are the lazy one repeating the same thing all the time and you most of your post are  a waist of my time.

What i contribute is an opinion, and facts that i see.   Nothing more.  All I'm asking is when posting a video, please include something that describes what the video is about.

If you don't want to watch a video, then don't watch it and you'll not regret watching it.

What if the video provides some vital information?  I get what youre saying, but including a description of what the video covers could be helpful in determining whether it should be watched or not.

I think we all know "that person".  The friend that only watches one news outlet, and then tries to convince you that they are the only true/reliable/honest one.

I know people that are extremely right, and I know people that are extremely left.  They all know not to discuss politics or this virus with me, for the simple fact that they just parrot what they are spoon fed.

It's handy to have more info about the posted videos, but unless someone is just spamming video links that are all over the place, it's not really a problem.  I will confess though in general that without any explanation on a video link post I often skip it.  Here on this thread, I peruse them anyway to ensure they are on topic and not full of misinformation.

Heading off to get my shot in less than an hour. I'll let you know if I end up magnetized or whatever it is the anti-vaxxers are claiming now.

Remember to stick a magnet to your arm so you can find the chip the govt implanted.

But seriously.  I wish you well and that you have no adverse reactions.

R.I.P the guy in the video. Why do you link to a video that attack the freedom to choice to take the vax? Do you think vaccinations should be forced or what!? besides very beautiful cats or your page and you to.

I think they should be forced. If this upsets you, then too bad

I know this is rare in today's world.  But are ya ready for this?

I dont agree with you.  But I do respect your right to your opinion.

There ya go!  No muss...no fuss...no attacks.

I read where health care workers are being told that they will be required to be vaccinated.  I dont read anything about a mass exodus of health care workers leaving.  I do know of some state workers that are whining about being vaccinated.  But i can guarantee you that NONE of them will walk away from those cushy overpaid, and over protected jobs.

One of my best friends for over 45 years is now an RN in Texas, and if anything is going to make her walk away from the job, it's the constant and neverending influx of patients who are still trying to say Covid is isn't real, they don't have it, etc.

Imagine you are a healthcare worker that has been completely slammed since early 2020, who has to isolate from their own family a lot of the time, etc.  Shift after shift, day after day, week after week, month after month after month, you work impossibly long hours and watch people dying and in misery, and you try to help them, comfort their families, etc.  Then finally, a vaccine!  Then 2, 3, 4 vaccines!  Relief is on the way...thank god it's going to finally start getting better...

But no.  The influx just keeps going, and it's endless.  But now, it's full of people who are fighting you every step of the way, and who are willfully letting themselves get sick by avoiding the vaccine.  Yet you still have to keep going, working the same hours, isolating from family/friends, and now the light at the end of the tunnel has been snatched away from you...and it gets harder and harder not to be angry and resentful at people who are suffering and need your help...

It's truly a nightmare...and a lot of healthcare workers are getting PTSD-like symptoms, etc. from this.
