They said the flu also have the vaccine. But people have been resistant of the flu virus. Did our body develop self anti virus for the flu ?

we just got the worst Quarterly GDP news in the history of the USA/T's. IT FELL 33% !!

ok. right now we have a Nat'l Debt of abt 27T (yes thats w/a T). our Quarterly GDP wuz abt 20T...until today. Now. it lost abt 0.5T in Q1 2020 (jan -mar). and this morn our GDP (2Q 2020 (apr-jun) lost another 1.5T'ish. our GDP for the previous yr is now at 18T (3Q19, 4Q19, 1Q20, 2Q20).

...and expect it to remain the same for Q3 & Q4 (abt -33%).

ok. if that happens (we needa vaccine !) ?, that will put our 2020 GDP at abt 14.5T. ok i predict we go to a 31T ND (add 15% more x 27T) by the end of the yr. why ? cuz we hafta keep the stimulus packages coming thats why...we are on life support ! 

that will put us at abt a 215% ND/GDP ratio. i hate to break it to u but thats scary pathetic. and that is, BY FAR, the worst in the Group of 20 (sans Japan). 

and thats wut i wuz saying the other day. were comparing Natl Debt/GDP when GDP WAS whopping ! now its in a nose dive and...bad news. Our national debt is still there. Alive like a underbed monster and not going anywhere...anytime soon.

I thought i have read somewhere that our body could be trained to combat the virus until our body could be self defended.

It looks dangerous but should be under medical supervision.

You are incorrect.  There's no rule modification.  I can block someone as the OP of this thread, and I laid out when and why I will do so.  That has nothing to do with chess.com's ToS or forums rules, which stand on their own in addition to what I posted.  So if you post a politically-leaning post here. you may get muted for 24 hrs and/or blocked from further posts on this thread, for example.   One consequence would come from chess.com, and the other would come from me.  They are separate.  Is that clear enough for you?

If you read the thread, then you already know that David has intervened in places where I have not, and vice-versa.  If you haven't read the thread, then I invite you to do so.  Maybe then you can comment more intelligently about it.

Maybe Louis Pasteur ever weakened microbes and injecting it to the body to stimulate the body's immune system. Maybe the doses of it was raised gradually until the body could combat the disease. 

For research it should be tried on lab animal before safe to be implemented on human.

I am sorry but I do not understand what you mean. If that was a criticism of Pasteur, I guess you can join those anti-vaccine people and have fun with conspiracy theories; if on the other hand you did not, and said there should be trials on animals before implementing on humans, well I guess I somewhat agree. Thing is a human body and a mouse or even a monkey body can react differently to vaccines, therefore human trials have to be done as well. I myself feel kind of disgusted that some animals might die due to all sort of trials, may those be for vaccines or anything else, but I guess we have no choice..

 I don't know if that is how the vaccine at work. Actually i prefer to use the drug medication.

I compare that to the weakening flu virus toward our body. It didn't use vaccine for flu.

That is how vaccine may work.  Drug medication or vaccine are possible somehow, vaccine better.  Governments should activate.  Virus can cause injury, and so...snuff out is goal.  Obvious measures we should take, but not obvious statements make.  Outweigh simple paths with contributing logic...good will ensue.

i believe we are abt to borrow another $5T in stimulus by the end a 2020. cuz there will be no legitimate vaccine until at least then. that will get us to a $32T national debt. the good news is the debt service on 32T, at a 30-yr bond interest rate (1.25%) is, very roughly, abt $400B/yr. sadly. very little of this debt is being serviced at 1.25%. thats just the spot price today. previous 30-yr bond sales have been much higher as 30-yrs ago (1990) 30-yr bond rates were selling at 8.5%. in 30yrs, debt service has slowly stepped dn from 8.5% to todays 1.25%. 

now. we collect abt 15% of our GDP for federal taxes. thats abt $3T/yr. but !...thats assuming a 20T GDP. trust me. this GDP # is going dn by the end of yr (2Q20 GDP wuz dn 33% !). it will probably be roughly $15T at best for yr 2020. meaning beginning 2021, we will be collecting abt T2.25 in fed tax revenue. that probably (?) will cover our debt service close to only. it could provide very few funds left to run the USA/T's. so to me ?...it feels like were headed for a collision course w/ a sad reality. 

so. if my abv #'s are close to right, then our 1Q21 ND/GDP will be over 200% ! (32T/15T = 213%). bad news...this ratio is incredible. to say the least. the worst, by far, of the Group-20 countries (sans Nippon (@ 240%)). 

we got here cuz we spent $ in the good times and borrowed in the bad. we needed to save $ in the good times so we had $ in the bad. we're in bad times right now. and now its too late. we're trapped like a junebug in a empty room w/ a cowgirl in pointy boots.

Yeah, it may will be the same with flu with all its transmission except it was considered a new kind of flu. It will be lingering around us.

Covid will be like flu eventually, I guess, when we all  have suffered it so our blood has the antibodies to make the coronavirus harmless
