dont be so kindy-naive. their so-called "vaccine" only regulates immune response and slows viral replication. they dont have a cure-all. no one does right now. and no one will 4many full moons.
Meanwhile, as we deal with the insanity in this country...
How New Zealand went 100 days with no community coronavirus transmission4 cases yesterday, sorry...
yeah ?...well we got 40 new cases in the time i just took to write this.

that could very well be one of the most ignorant segments on C-19 that i have EVER seen. ykw ?...i'll just say it...it is.
im sorry...absolutely pathetically irresponsible.

My comment was ironic. Why do you think there are dozens vaccines being tested, instead of one supported by the whole world? Because for them covid 19 is not an illness, is a HUGE BUSSINESS, billionaire.

you hurt my feelings...
Are you sure that absolutely no college athletes have been hospitalized due to COVID19? Or is it just your own opinion? Because, it sounds really unlikely.
So...?
What do you mean? That every person should attend to the college again and become an athlete? Dude, you have found the cure for covid!!

And COVID19 must be an international conspiracy created by money-thirtsy billionaires too? duh.
Having different labs working on it is not a huge conspiracy, and it can actually be useful, for it automatically creates an environment of competition. Indeed, the pharma companies that will succeed in making reliable vaccines quickly will make a huge load of money, but do you really expect any company to sell vaccines for free, so that they can earn nothing??
Even in "communist" China, I reckon the vaccine will not be free, and pharma companies that will win government contracts will make big bucks, because this is how it works.
You do not work for free do you? Same for the people that work for the companies that are trying to manufacture a vaccine. This is how it works.

Dr. Matthew Martinez, director of sports cardiology for Atlantic Health System in New Jersey, said he has received calls from physicians from at least a dozen Power 5 schools who have identified more than a dozen athletes with some post-COVID-19 myocardial injury. He said about half of them had symptoms.
"Initially we thought if you didn't have significant symptoms that you are probably at less risk. We are now finding that that may not be true," he said.
Martinez, who is the league cardiologist for Major League Soccer, team cardiologist for the New York Jets and a consultant for the National Basketball Players Association, said based on what he's seen so far among professional athletes who have had COVID-19, "I'm hopeful the number is under 5%" who have heart-related issues.
Even though the percentage is likely small, Martinez said there is still so much unknown that it is wise to take a conservative approach in returning athletes to play.
most athletes who get myocarditis will be able to safely return to sports after a restriction of activity for three to six months. But he said that in some cases, the inflammation can turn to scar tissue and put the patient at risk for an irregular heartbeat that can lead to sudden cardiac arrest, which can be triggered by exercise.
The German study found incidents of ongoing myocardial inflammation independent of preexisting conditions or the severity of COVID-19 in patients.

Heart issues linked to COVID-19 gained attention last week after the mother of Indiana offensive lineman Feeney posted her son's plight on Facebook. She wrote: "Unfortunately this virus hit my son very hard compared to most of his teammates. Here was a kid in perfect health, great physical condition and due to the virus ended up going to the ER because of breathing issues. After 14 days of hell battling the horrible virus, his school did additional testing on all those that were positive. My son even received extra tests because he was one of the worst cases. Now we are dealing with possible heart issues! He is still experiencing additional symptoms and his blood work is indicating additional problems. Bottom line, even if your son's schools do everything right to protect them, they CAN'T PROTECT THEM!!"

University of Houston defensive lineman Sedrick Williams announced on Facebook on Saturday that he was opting out of the 2020 season because of heart problems associated with COVID-19. Williams, a transfer from Kilgore College in Texas, tested positive in June and spent 14 days in quarantine.
"As a result of the virus, I've had complications with my heart and I really don't know the outcome or what's in store for me in the future," Williams wrote. "I just know that my life is more precious to me than football could ever be. I've decided to opt out of the 2020 football season due to these complications. I won't take this year for granted. I'm coming back bigger, faster and stronger than ever."
Were any of those cases hospitalized. An ER visit doesn’t = hospitalization. Lots of athletes and young adults contract the disease. There will always be statistical anomalies that can be twisted to suit whomever is writing the narrative.
Last week, Feeney’s mother shared a heart-wrenching Facebook post chronicling his battle with the coronavirus. He went from being “a kid in perfect health, great physical condition” to being hospitalized due to breathing issues.
Around 1 in every 5 people who are infected with COVID-19 develop difficulty in breathing and require hospital care.
Advice regarding exercise and athletics in those affected with COVID-19 may evolve quickly as more data are gathered. All individuals should reduce/limit exercise if there is concern for any viral syndrome, with complete cessation if COVID-19 positive. Those who have suffered myocardial injury consistent with possible myocarditis should wait 3-6 months before re-evaluation to adjudicate return to participation in vigorous exercise.
"This particular virus causes more problems with the heart than any other virus so that's why we're being particularly careful,"
Some limited studies have shown that COVID-19 can cause heart inflammation after someone contracts the virus. According to the Mayo Clinic, “severe myocarditis weakens your heart so that the rest of your body doesn’t get enough blood. Clots can form in your heart, leading to a stroke or heart attack.”
