Do colleges still care about SATs scores?

My question is do colleges even care about SATs scores? Last year I took the test, I got 6 prefect scores but I'm still having trouble getting into a school.

Scores on tests are only part of the decision making process. Depending on the schools you are looking at, it may matter very little or may be really important.

Grades in school, extra-curricular activities and volunteering can also play into it. It also depends on what schools; I think SAT is more important on the coasts and ACT is in the middle of the US (though that may have changed).

I applied to my local junior college, Harvard, and medical school in the Philippines. I want to become a doctor.

No comedy. A lot of schools look for social activities, especially volunteer activities in the community as part of their selection ctiteria. The more prestigious the school, the more likely they are to look at non-academic factors, to differentiate candidates. This is for the US; other countries very likely do things differently.

Yrs ago, in the U.S, test scores was everything. Then education became a big business. Being a doctor is a very lofty goal, and Harvard is very expensive. Your best bet is to stay with the junior colleges to get all the B.S courses out of the way. Get 2 or 3 yrs under your belt 1st, then transfer to Harvard later. You can also look at the military as an option.
