Oh my, quite a big one. But mine was on a fence which was kind of strange.

When they swarm ... they tend to regroup on almost anything ... they are amazing beasties

I have a funny video I took of capturing a swarm if I can only post it

Amazing beasties? Not too amazing when they sting you.

Oh and magpies rate as some of my favorite birds ... they are very intelligent

I know; i love how they sing, talk and make funny noises. I used to have a magpie friend who would come right up and sing/talk to me. She was very special however I haven't seen her in ages. They are indeed very smart.

Honestly if you sit still and watch a bee hive for a while they are incredible ... they don't sting unless they feel that they or the hive isbeing threatened

Andrew amazing pictures, and I love the diversity of wild life in your country. Not far from where I live, high up in one of the many trees that surround me, are a family of buzzards, these are large birds of prey , with a wingspan of about 80-100 centimeters, but very shy which makes it awfully difficult to photograph.

King parrot

THIS guy visits quite often and will even sit on your arm for a feed of birdseed Not so much my back door but my front door is close enough.

Huntsman spider

Ok so for the squeamish... I often have to remove these critters from the house.I can't actually bring myself to squish em and I don't want them to die from any insect spray we need to use from time to time.. I actually think these are beautiful creatures.

I’m not a big fan of spiders, and I do occasionally find them in the house, I will then trap them in a small glass, and return them to Mother Nature.

For a minute there I thought this was a thread about a Credence Clearwater Revival tune....

Well yeah ... Creedence did inspire the title. I tried to photograph the giants doing cartwheels across my lawn etc but they would not sign a release form allowing me to publish.... soo you will have to make do with wildlife .
