I like math but in math there is no creativity. In chess you sorta make your own styles.

In aops there are some math problems that you have to use creativity

Depends, some math problems can be fun. They’re like a puzzle you have to solve. I hate geometry though. It’s my kryptonite.

Yes, but it really depends on how it's taught

I hated Algebra. Geometry was completely different, as I loved the visual/spatial aspect of it that wasn’t common in polynomials wink.png.

I like math, and because of that I am good at it.

I used to like math way back when I was still in elementary school. . . . . and then I got moved to DIFF. I slightly hate it now not gonna lie. It was fine-ish in 5th, didn't really like my teacher in 6th, 7th was better, and I HATED 8th.

I don't really like algebra but I kinda like geometry because I play games where the characters and the environment are made of simple shapes and they are cool

I think in math, they straight away teach you grandmaster stuff. Also in math  you have no idea what final solution will be. But in chess at least you have idea what you are doing

Actually, it is the other way around. Math has a single, absolute answer, and there are steps to reach that answer, while in chess there is no definitive answer.
