choke on that for a while and then tell me how they figured that one out !

you think anyone on earth can look through a telescope and observe Pluto's supposed moon Charon and observe THAT ! ???????????

and remember one thing -

they say Pluto is more than 4 BILLION miles from your globe earth

prove charon is tidally locked with pluto via the scientific method -

if you can - my hat is off to you !

I can explain to you how it was done, but I can't give you the ability to understand it.

1. You observe Pluto and Charon individually and infer the rate at which they rotate (simply by seeing how the features rotate and reappear).
2. Then you observe them orbit around their centre of mass and deduce the time it takes for one orbit (again nothing difficult to understand).
3. Then you notice that all three values are 6.387 days.
4. Then you deduce tidal locking.

You don't need video footage, you just need a series of photographs with time gaps between them.

And, as always, you are indicating stupid beliefs (you believe in a grand conspiracy involving all the world's astronomers and everyone else competent enough to analyse their work) then finding ways to avoid changing your stupid ideas. You have done nothing else for a few decades, I am sure.

I just explained astronomers take pictures of the two minor planets and watch them rotate while they orbit. Nothing sciency to confuse you - it's simply direct observation.

All you need is the sanity to understand there is not a global conspiracy of astronomers and all those connected with them.

For some of the planets these sorts of observations are made by amateurs across the world - anyone willing to buy a telescope and put in the effort - but you need a really big telescope to observe any surface detail on Pluto and Charon!

if its "direct observation" there must be video footage of it ( from amateur astronomers to Nasa - like videoing wildlife in the natural world - not the theoretical heliocentric world where all Nasa provides is cartoon animations & they should be providing NOTHING but 100% authentic video footage - but they don't because they can't because it doesn't EXIST in the REAL world!

there is no telescope than can "observe" millions/billions of miles much less theoretical "lightyears" away !

the so-called "conspiracy" was long in the making - remember - dissemination of information flows from Top-Down - not from - Bottom-Up.
