Indeed. 12 men, 6 times.

"Man walking on the moon", on the other hand, is something that has already happened

Definitely.
All 12 of them americans. With four of them still alive.
And one of them did actually try a couple of golf shots up there.
Apparently they only went 20 and 40 yards.
The moon oughtta be good for par 5's though.
Except the greens would be kind of fast.
A bit dodgy.

We're both online for now.
The word 'randomness' and its semantics have a lot of potential for conversations.
And what is considered random and what is not - gets a lot of attention in all walks of life apparently.
@ TenGolf - please let me know if you'd like me to message you privately.
You could let me know by messaging me privately - or letting me know openly - here.
Why private messages? Multiple reasons.

Regarding the five science forums - they're not necessarily easy to find.
For 'cosmology' its actually 'New in cosmology' - the Topic name.
For the AI forum - when searching for it I had to type 'elroch' to find it.
Once the follow box is checked though - one can find whatever by hitting 'forums' under the people button at left and then clicking 'following' at right.
To make that work better though - it might be necessary to unfollow many forums.
(not hard - if one has been on the site for years - many forums just die.)

I have random thoughts sometimes so I'm using this example to say yes, true randomness does exist.

Avatar of Elroch

The randomness in thoughts is an important example, because it impacts the randomness in human choices (or "free will" as some call it).

Avatar of noodles2112

like the "choice to take off in a commercial airliner despite instrument anomalies" -- can & often lead to disaster/death --- for everyone onboard - no matter what "random seat" they are assigned!

But are such thoughts really random? Or just appear to be?
Maybe quantum mechanics will eventually prove that a thought can be 'purely' random.
But - good or better definitions of randomness to be thought of first.
