I am horribly allergic to both... so fish! Dogfish or catfish, I don't really mind. 
I've had both and I think I like cats a little more. They're so regal...and deadly!
I think dogs and cats both have their own likable traits, but I personally like dogs more for their stupid loyalty and affectionism. Cats are too smart to follow someone without question.

Then i'm with both. I like the fact that with cats and wolves you have to earn their trust, dogs are very trusting...... and obediant

I had two cats, both strays that decided they wanted to live with me one day. Unfortunately, one suddenly died last summer leaving us heartbroken. 
Prior to the cats, I owned a bunch of schnauzers.

Dogs. generally they are friendlier (there are exceptions of course). I like just about any dog, especially medium to big size.
One of those doggy exceptions attacked me once....i still like dogs but i like cats (and wolves) better.
I think cats are definitely more intelligent, but they are also more stubborn, and generally won't learn tricks like dogs will.
do big cats count it does have cats in it. so i think CATS are the best they might look cute but they can tear you a part.
Dogs; I have a Golden Retriever but I remember as a child I liked a Collie.
My GF is from the Phillipines..... her family eats cats.
Regal and deadly indeed.
What do you like best DOGS or CATS. For me it is dogs. When you answer you can tell the tyep of dog or cat. Mine is dog, German Sheperd.
