Don't Be Silly ! The World Is Round !!!

As we speak ( and we are " Speaking " right now ) I have a Globe of the World sitting on a shelf in my living room ( as yes it is round, being a globe   lol ).

But are the countries different colours?

   ---   Thanks for the post. Yes oddly enough the countries are. Also all of the states in the USA are shown in different colours as well. 

So based upon your globe the world is indeed round but the landmasses are surprisingly kaleidoscopic. The only globe I own depicts the limited geographical knowledge of several centuries ago and separates at the equator to reveal 3 whisky filled decanters and half a dozen glasses. 😎

I assure you, I have a map of the world on the wall, and it is as flat as a flatcake.

   ---   Well we do circle around the Sun every 365 & 1/4 days or so and therefore we get to see our " Heater " from all angles ( yup it looks kinda round  lol ). 

I can see the crust.

Sorry, my Globe still looks like a very round little Planet   lol. 

Btw all of the other planets in our Solar system are round as well and yes that does include poor old Pluto. Also I'm asking everyone to please join the BBP Society. The BBP Society ( Bring Back Pluto ) will continue the fight to have Pluto restored as a " Full-Planet " !!!
