Earth is flat. Prove me wrong.
@trysts: not much of a comPARISon... (hey wasn't that funny?!)
Yes, it's settled. Flat earth theory, and the existence of Paris are both as believable as a water-covered sphere :)
It's too late anyway. The polls have closed, and the voters chose that the earth is flat. I hope that you all enjoy living on the flat earth!
NOPE. ask the pros. you are wrong. but hey, like your thinking.
Are satellites fake too?
Yes, they cannot exist with a flat earth. Satellite radio and GPS really have their signals coming from right here on Earth.
this guy is messing with you.
I have investigated this thoroughly over a period of several minutes, the results are as follows:-
When I'm in a plane at 60,000 feet the earth is round.
When I'm on the ground the earth looks flat.
When I'm in the shower I'm not sure because I have frosted glass.
@A_G_A Does gravity exist according to the parameters of your theory?
No, the earth accelerates upward.
So the earth doesn't rotate? The sun just goes around the earth in 24 hours? What's on the other side of the earth? Dinosaurs maybe?
The sun and the moon are fixed around the north pole and revolve. The sun completes a full cycle in 24 hours. During the northern hemisphere's summer, it is further north and revolves more slowly than it usually does. During the northern hemisphere's winter, it is further south on the earth and revolves more quickly to compensate for the increased distance that it must travel. It may be impossible to go onto the bottom side of the earth because there is no gravity; the earth just accelerates upward.
So according to you, the Earth is flat, but it has hemispheres??!! Do you know what a hemisphere is? Perhaps you should investigate the definitions of the words you choose before you try to use them in an effort to support ridiculous suppositions.
This was already asked. I know that the flat earth does not have hemispheres, but there is no word for the area on the flat earth north of the equator because science only accepts the round earth model. I mean what round earthers refer to as hemispheres.
I explained what happens with the water days ago -- that science is settled.
Roundies are arguing, apparently seriously and at length, with those who believe the earth is actually flat and I'm wasting my time??
why doesn't the water fall off the sides of the Earth? Oh wait, next you'll say that there is no such thing as water.
Take a college course in geology and physics. the water turns to ice and accumulates at the edge of our flat disc world, acting as a dam and effectivily blocking most of the water from spilling over. The water that does escape is returned as rain, as we all know the amount of water is always constant.
