Electronic gaming can indeed be harmful to one's health and relationships, because of too much screen time, too much sitting, and a lack of focus on the real world. If not taken too far, electronic gaming can be a good way to relieve some stress, or have fun with some friends.

Any time I see some little child play those lousy games virtual with guns and violence it ticks me off, have even lovingly asked them why do they like such garbage, then also say that I realize their friends also play them, maybe big brother got them involved but it is so sad, no way in hell should there be any stupid games the likes and we wonder why there have been beyond outright awful shooting sprees. =/

It’s beyond sad! 😥

I agree with you and it is upsetting to say the least

Potato50012

I really need to refute that. No, games shouldn't be bloody and gory, but they don't cause shootings. People aren't trying to recreate the games, it's only messed up individuals who are doing the shootings. People who hate everyone.

Kids who play those games aren't like that, they actually usually turn out as average members of society. It's not the games that cause it, it's social pressures or bad home lives that drive them to the mental breaking point, and they can't release their frustrations in a healthy manner. It's the same with most suicides.

CatsWithWings00

Some games can cause guys to do those things though...

Potato50012

No, no they don't.

I'm not saying that those games are good, but the games don't cause that.

Some do, yes. Its been proven too so you cant deny it

Potato50012

Yes, I can deny it. The game does not cause the shooting. There are tons of articles proving otherwise. The individuals in question did not need the game to do what they did, it wasn't important.

Potato50012

Let's not argue.

Ok

It most definitely is from the ‘ballistic shooting spree’ dude’s influence and conditioning, but no child should find ‘it as to be cool’ using a gun and annihilating whatever presented virtually! I can’t stand guns to begin and violence is beyond pathetically sad, so ingrained with society’s getting off watching two scrap and maul each other, beyond stupid and a sick way to make a living, be paid to thrash violence on another. There’s absolutely no way  w h a t s o e v e r  such virtual games are beneficial or good in any sense for any child, period.

The games don't cause shootings, but I'll agree that shooting games aren't good.

Agreed

TheBestBeer_Root

guns aren’t good straight out.

war ain’t good straight out. But I highly admire soldiers to fight to protect their land because they have to and that is disgusting but I still highly admire them.

and violence will  n e v e r  make sense.

Potato50012

You're wrong in so many ways, and you just contradicted yourself, but if we keep talking you'll just get mad, so I'm done.

TheBestBeer_Root

You’re beyond obnoxious to me but I still forgive but you damn well should know it.

.....I realize you’re seventeen, but I do deserve respect yo.

Potato50012

I've never been obnoxious, so leave me alone.

CatsWithWings00
