You might want to read a book titled "The Vegetarian Myth", by Lierre Keith. The author is a woman who started veganism at 16 and was a vegan for 20 years. Here's a nearly 30-minute interview of her: https://archive.org/details/Peakmoment-TheVegetarianMyth915

Also, many vegans/vegetarians don't get enough protein. A good book on the subject is "Protein Power", by Michael Eades. Used copies are fairly cheap.

And, of course, you need to supplement properly, which isn't easy to do.

I get protein through avocados and such things like that. They do have quite the amount of protein

Yeah, but much of plant protein has a low bio-availability, so you don't get as much protein as the numbers claim.

Plus, you have to properly pair up different types of plant proteins to get the proper ratios of amino acids. It's really a mine field for someone who hasn't done the research.
