Diseases are caused by lots of things. Cardiovascular and heart disease are often caused by poor diet, smoking, etc.
*COPD is often caused by smoking, and certain occupational hazards.
*Cronic Obstructive Pulminary Disease. Can be a general diagnosis, or a person with COPD could have a more specific diagnosis like emphesima, or black lung disease, or several others. Doctors are not sure if Covid-19 might cause chronic lung problems.
Diseases can be acute, like the flu or Covid-19, or a chronic condition that can last for months, years, or the rest of someones life. Genetics often play a factor in certain diseases, or a direct factor if it's diagnosed at a young age. (For example Juvanile Diabeties).
