Cheers Kohai :) Ah yes, i had fergotten that i had liked Denmark's entry too.. he sure was as much a hit with the ladies at our party as the Ukraine's singer was to the guys heh.
France's was on 2nd listen actually pretty cool.. but seemed very British rock/pop with a touch of French electronica in it.
I also like Azerbaijan's rockin entry, and best costumes fer sure! As fer Spain Rolf Harris lookalike... just lol!
Since nobody linked up the Irish entry, here it is for the laugh.
I thought it was a classic, but then we Irish are a funny lot.
For the purposes of clarity, funny = weird, not funny = ha ha.

Ok,Eurovision is a pop contest foolish and only for fun.The voting has mainly to do with countries that are neighbours and give each other 8 points and more(Greece and Cyprus for example-always 12 points!)..But if you see it for fun its ok!I could only mention the win of ABBA at 1974 with Sweden(this song is also pop,but i respect ABBA)

But if you want to see a really hot woman is Helena Paparizou (we won 2005 Eurovision with her,very proud of it-haha,just kiding..).So fill a glass with whisky Mr.Pistoleer and enjoy!(if you came to Greece you have to drink Greek "ouzo",very tasty and strong-50% alcohol)

Yep the competition is good fer a laugh indeed!
I didnt realise that Italy have been boycotting it for years now... amusing stuff. Ireland didnt want to win again which is the explanation fer their entry :P
oh btw i love Ouzo! Drank it plenty when i was in Santorini, Corfu, Ios and Athens ;P In fact im going back to Santorini this summer again, beautiful place.

Yes Santorini is really nice..If you visit Greece occasionally at summers i suggest to visit someday Samothrace(or Samothraki) if you like nature.And of course Crete.At Crete they drink Tsikoudia or Raki.At northen Greece(where i live) people prefer Tsipouro (with or without anise,tsikoudia has not anise).Both tsikoudia and tsipouro are stronger than ouzo..
And who knows,you maybe hit on Helena!And if you don't no problem,many "Helenas" here..!

Ok im pissed. Now ive tgot that out of the way - what a load of political nonsense!
Aright Irelands effort was ridiculous!! The UK sucked but getting almost null points was funny. Sillly basatrads fer attacking Iraq.
But Urkraine... wow... loveryly. Definately a winner.
Fumnny how so many eastern block countries voted fer Russia even though their entry was a pile o soggy bag o shite!
All in all a fun night mostly because of copeious amounts of champagne and red wine flowin at the party i was at heh ;)
