Fake photos on profiles

Ok but pls don't share doctors. Didn't end too well for him.
But he's really good. He also does buy one get one free on ears.
Never trust someone who calls himself a "plastic surgeon" if their only tools are a Black & Decker and a marker pen.

-----------k21 my grand sons saw the pic, they make nightmere now !!! they'll suit you for cruaulty towards animals, 100 years long war. they are worse than fB, the grand sons. Well .. the pics too.
Insane pic', fatal weapon, reported. Geneva convention puts limit the heart ignores. What about "snowwhite", or Gouinet Paltrow, or Glenn Close ... to me ? it wouldn't be a fake, Dame K21.
“Avoid the crowd. Do your own thinking independently. Be the Chess player, not the Chess piece.” ~Ralph Charell
oops, it is off topics, sorry OP. Bonne journée Le Chair. if stgh wrong , hurts, etc ....

connor was fab in a bra and knicks! that guy could really shave a leg.
Who is this connor you speak of?

123 friends, 53 groups, decent established standard rating, clearly an active "online" player, tons of photos of an older lady in most of the tourist spots of the world.
OP-This is your target? this is a person who ought to be banned from not showing herself on her avatar?? wow.
why is the way you look SO important on a site about chess?

OK, for your benefit and for everyone else here who still hasn't got the point of this thread.
I am not calling for every member to post their own photo on their profile. The choice of picture is up to yourself, as it should be. It's a chess account, not an ID card or passport. Nor does it matter how anybody looks here, or what age or sex or nationality they are.
What is not on, in my opinion, is somebody deliberately posting photos of another person with the deliberate intention of misleading everybody into thinking it is themselves. If it is done without the owner's knowledge and permission, this amounts to identity theft, and should result in the closure of that account.
Alright, is that clear enough for everybody, because I don't think I can express it any more simply.

some threads are weird : they start with topic 1,"" female are really chess players" , for instance, and on post ten you learn "Trump is crap", on post 100 "suicide hand book for dummies", just incredible. OK it was on "off topics". I love that threads, and enjoy serious threads like yours OP. Ty u for having being me not muted, i'm sometimes muted by some OP because ...I stay on topic!!!!
Here it is about pic,( We2 love painting too). K21 is our Batgirl in off topics, an icone we all are in love with. Does it have to be mention on topic here?

A pity. :(
yes Pulpo used his real face on profile JUNE 2015 when I started to learn spanish on threads. It was not the fake, but Pulpo. Why did u change your real pic', friend, if not indiscret . Why people change pic all the time, terrorists trying to escape when throwing cell in garbage can after mission ?? me parano I wanna survive.

Posting a "misleading" or inaccurate picture of yourself is not against the TOS. thus, it wouldn't be fair to ban someone over it.
how is a picture, really identity?
My pic is truly me. is my "identity revealed"- could you find me or impersonate me on my picture alone?? I doubt it greatly , if I said only that I lived in Pennsylvania. and espacially if my avatar pic wasn't posted on social media; you'd NEVER find me. Seeing my picture is Even less than knowing my name.
If you were the person in the avatar pictures, or if that person was a good friend of your- I'd understand the concern.

to clarify, I'm not saying it isn't against TOS to impersonate someone...
(I just looked it up and it is)...
I'm saying that posting a picture of someone or something else as an avatar is NOT impersonation. if said person were then to use any information that applies to the person in his/her avatar- THEN it probably truly is impersonation...
FWIW, here is a link to the TOS (Terms of Service).
in short, your assumption that the avatar identifies a person is odd. I don't think a chair identifies you. and it wouldn't matter (to me) if it was a rare and prized chair of a neighbor that you hav been coveting for years.
