No she thought the writen down "words of god " are the most Religious Thing and calling them "a book" ( which is a certain Form of writen down words) was soo insulting I think beach was Just crazy ( this was neither the First Nor the only time i as a comparetative Religious Scientists ( WE Look at Religious Rituals etc and Analyse them ( for all religions) rather than Just learn Religious dogmas Like in Theology) was attacked by theologists . A Couple Semesters later I Changed my minor from Theology to History of Natural science- best Decission ever
IT would be funny If IT were Not real. Like These were Young ppl ( Just 20+ yo) but they are already that extreme. And the whole subject of Theology as taught in this particular class ( minors and Majors took Most classes together for some reason), smh!!! One day WE Got a Text "to ask critical questions about" . When I asked my critical questions ( e.g. the Community in the Text Had Dancing lessons for everyone ( nevermind their Religion) you needed to pay for them) I asked why If IT were Open for everyone nevermind their Religion why would they have to get baptised Into the church to Take Dancing lessons Open for everyone WHICH THEY PAY FOR?! I was quickly shushed and upon further inquiery Just ignored . So "ask critical questions but don't ask critical questions!" :facepalm

My parents had to handle similar situations with my petulant teenage brother (decades ago). They didn't just give up on him... and my parents are only human. I expect much better from someone claiming to be divine.

To be fair, it is a bit odd to allow, for example, LGBT topics but not topics like this.
They're both contentious topics that aren't inherently bad in any way. Silencing one group and not the other because it's in vouge to do so is a bit, uh, trashy... for lack of a better word.
