I'm afraid I don't know the solution, but an alternative browsing window such as Google Chrome might work for you.
It's what I use and so far have had no problems.

Does anyone else have problems with a "Not Responding" error with Firefox and Internet Explorer? This happens to me on a daily basis, and when it happens the
computer often gets stuck. I can usually use control+alt+delete or control+shift+tab
to get out of it, but it takes awhile, and sometimes the whole screen just locks up
and I have to turn it off an on (which isn't a great idea).
Any advice on the subject would be most appreciated.
