african flags are some of my favorites.  so much color.

What's the other silhouetted item?

the tool?  i think it's a garden hoe.  some sort of farmer's tool probably to signify their agriculture and the working man.  and the book? i'm not sure what that stands for.  probably their law i assume.

Well I don't know what that ugly thing in the upper left is but I'd say the others are stars.

yes I agree with the union jack,that is why australia is asking for a change but ivandh which is the NZ one and which is the Aussie one ? 

Well for one thing you have the Aussie flag right on your post...

There are, however, numerous ways to remember which is which.

Australia is bigger, therefore has more stars.

NZ is closer to the U.S. hence the stars are five-pointed like American stars.

NZ has a more prominent aboriginal culture, which is why the stars have red in them...

You should get one then. Look at me, I have Latvia's flag. Which I'll admit is rather dull, but anyone who has the guts to use that particular shade in their flag is badass.

I like the Serbian and Slovak ones which have a coat of arms on the flag. Its like having a flag on a flag, except that one of the flags is a much awesomer version of a flag.
