The funniest thing about believing in a flat earth isn't the easily debunked nonsense from a scientific point of view. It's that you would have to believe that many, many millions people (all armies, airlines, shipping lines, government employees, professors, etc etc) are participant in the cover up and not once does the truth come out (sometimes a secret is in danger when just one third person knows, imagine millions). And not only that. Why would they all be lying? What would be the point of making covering up the truth.
Actually every time they are confronted with irrefutable facts they go back to their last line of defense they think is invisible; the cover-up.
Kind of like, when I told my dumb cousin that in order to take the trips we took to Australia from Chile, the Earth has to be round considering the hours, route and speed of the plane. Once the math defeats him then he simply say "they" are hiding the truth. Nevermind "they" would have to be the damn pilots, crew, everyone working at the airports around the world and the thousands of employees from plane manufacturers like Boeing.
They can always go back to the "well they are lying to you, planes arent really going at that speed, or the speeds don't move at those speeds, bla bla.
When asked why the cover-up then it gets really sad and you actually notice the root of the problem. Many think that it's Satan keeping the world from the truth because a flat Earth would be unique to the Universe, thus proving our position as extraordinary in the eyes of god. They think a flat Earth is the ultimate proof of a god. Pretty pathetic.
Well I would have to be part of the "they" since I work in logistics. Things pretty much wouldnt get to where they should get on time if the Earth isnt round. I'm actually "in it" with the ship manufacturers. We say ships move at a certain speed but in reality it's a different speed. We just dont want the rest of the world to find the truth lolololol
