Here’s the main problem: the software engineers at tech companies know it’s going to **** but at the end of the day they just need paid and anybody in stem gives zero cares about any morality involving their research, there busy researching it, and the higher ups don’t understand what the repercussions will be, they just see $$$$ so if we take away $$$ then ai thinking murder is better than getting deleted will become a lot more important
