Smoke gets in your eyes

 I know socks..I gave up smoking all the way...but there is always the drinking I cant give up

I like you better when you do serious posts there Socks...Yes drinking is a problem but I can do it one day..

Hey Treesong.. You ever think that your claim that ‘you can’t’ holds you from ‘recognizing’ that ‘you can’ overcome what would be so much better getting rid of such a crutch?

I am extremely grateful I recognized, and at an early age involved in the sauce, though, once, after I on the wagon nearly nine months went to beach at night with a friend, met a gal on pier who offered me one beer she was holding, being I was interested in her, stupidly said sure, she had friends at a van loaded alc with one being a bartender his career and they were burning burgers they were so slammed, then pouring beer on them for said better taste lol....

As the night continued into early morning I was on the pier then with friend drove to beach with, we were drunkenly hanging out with a nearby fisherman with bucket of bait as he cast his line out over the railing and friend had asked him how long had he been fishing, had he found his bait in the sea, and he stated so, then my drunk friend idiotically tossed his bag of bait over the side laughing out go get it again, me rather ticked with him yet too laughed but angrily as well yelled him out. All liquor is crap my opinion.

The sun by then began to come out and I was nearby some beach homes and no restroom available thought maybe a door would be unlock, walked into someone’s home, into their kitchen, grabbed out of their fridge some chicken on a plate, and by then was nearly wizzing in pants so dropped them and on their linoleum floor let it go, plastered and as possible quietly chuckled then decided to go down hallway opened the main bedroom door while a couple was sleeping away and rather loud and fast said wake up! It’s 6:30 and then cockadoodaldooed laughing historically as I ran out his front door, him charging after me, obviously called the cops cauze within 10 minutes as I was back over by my friend’s truck with him in his truck bed on fender a police car screeched up to him, officer tapped abruptly friend on shoulder telling him to get out his truck, me just stunned watching happened so fast, friend said sure I’ll take another beer, then cop simply gripped him good enough to remove him onto his feet beside him, started checking our eyes diolated or not, they were, thought we doing drugs but nothing than the sauce, took us to a sobering tank with me freaking out lol, I was 19 never been any slammer and thoughts were enough to freak me out, but LOL the room was unbelievably brand new, new bunk beds, pillow fluffier than at home, and lol celldoor opened to a table of sandwiches and coolaid, maybe even chips lol don’t recall, just remember being grateful it was such an atmosphere than what was freaking me out 😂. 

Anyways, it jarred me quite enough to recognize how foolish it was to jump off my wagon of nearly a complete year no sauce, and I am extremely grateful that experience, just what I needed to realize the magnitude importance for myself to stand clear from liquor.

Now that is one fine post there BestBeer ...you know how to write ...Me I get drunk easily ...after a bottle of wine i tend to get a bit tipsy...This is not my language so I use different words probably...

Actually there is nothing much to add..I liked your post on the alcohol problem a lot...I dont do any drugs apart from a few drinks and sometimes more than a few....I actually play the best chess with one or two drinks...Not that I am any good though ...

No... you don’t sound at all like a fish with sauce.. I on the other hand didn’t know when to stop drinking, was a silly kid enjoying the being snockered stupidity and very glad I wise’d up! “,

The stuff is just too sad, seeing friends or even those after some bar closed and they stumbling around attempting not to crash out in a nearby shrubbery or bushes, and I’ve several times helped such individuals back up and even a shoulder to their intended stop, have even grabbed their keys after bringing to their car saying I drive very well and am taking you to your destination, home!

Thanks for the post...smoking was more of a problem but I have that under control now...I just stopped and it went ok...I miss that smoking though but you cant have it all...A good thing you stopped with drinking ...I will try to do the same..

You say you’re not to par your desire for chess it sounds... Have you yet to play the 4 Player offered on this site?

Dude.. The game is a blast! It dramatically increases your regular skills due the vast board, more players and the much going on, constantly players moving and having to register them all with a short allowed time is excellent for your focus and psyche etc. your regular chess!

The only thing though is when you first begin the regulars normally will very quickly attempt to remove you when they recognize you are new at it because the king is worth + 20 and the most points wins, so, is why they radar even before the game begins with your ratings showing (?) being a newbie.

You also can view other games, spectate, as well anyone’s archived wins, even go through mine and you’d see my strategy for winning brings the Queen out very early because lol everyone else is rushing to promo for another queen, and I’ve won some great games because so. =P

Also YouTubes are very wise to watch as to where to position, strategy and what works. You even can enpessant!

In chess I make progress but it very slow i m now trying to stay over 1400 but it is hard in here Some of these 1200 guys can easily beat you or you make a bloody mistake so the game is over ..I tend to get nervous in blitz and I never tried bulled

If you wanna play I d rather do 15/10 or just 30 minutes ..

I just sent a 20 minute 960.. I avoid the regular playing now days because so many engine users and have enjoyed the 960 for chess here.
