thank you this is what told me how to get points on your profile page i was wondering that for months

may i just say i have made 2 previous points and it is indeed 1 point for post

The difference between a stranger sending you a message that you might be interested in at a very low volume level, no repetition, just sending it to very few people, and that being done as spam - those things get close enough that you want to be careful never to filter out something that's legitimate.

Agreed. The original forum post here is clearly intended to be both informative and humourous. (The author of comment 67 may or may not have understood that.) Before reading this post, I did not know anything at all about Activity Points. For the benefit of those who are reading this for the first time:

- You can see your Activity Points at the top right of your Profile page.

- You earn one Activity Point for each comment you post in a forum.

- The "Participant Award" is achieved when you reach 100 Activity Points.
