I played chess when magazines and books were in descriptive notation.
Getting blocked for no reason
I had this comic book. It was free from Radio Shack. I learned to program in BASIC on a TRS-80. I was looking forward to "Internet chess". The TRS-80 Tandy Radioshack 80, was introduced in 1980.
I first play computer chess with Sargon II on a Commodore 64.

@Puzzleslolz
Relative to you, I'm practically a Highlander (watch the movies and TV series). Someone who lived for centuries.
How do you know when you are talking to a Highlander?
So your question is why you got blocked, so seeing it from your perspective won't help. That guy thought you were just wasting time and blocked you. It was nothing more than a misunderstanding. And I feel the answer you gave was a bit blank. You could have elaborated a bit.

Think logically.
Is my answer logical?
Chinese Chess notation is in dead reckoning system. I gave it that name. It doesn't have a name.
Rook moves right 5 steps.
Rook moves backwards 3 steps.
I played chess with a notation you never heard of, that doesn't even have a name.

That's what I am saying, it is logical, but you could have said everything you have just elaborated in that post. Making us understand is not gonna help that guy who blocked you understand.
The might have thought your answer was just sarcasm.
Time for a "back in the days' stories.
Back in the days, there were no Google Map, no GPS, Global Positioning System, from satellites,
Time for an interlude.
You have Rand McNally city maps, you buy at the gas stations.
The maps are in Algebraic Notation.
I still have a magnetic compass in my backpack.
I was actually introduced to Algebraic Notation with Battleship before I ever read a map.

I think you are getting off topic. What does this even have to with the topic going on?

That's called "explaining a joke".
When you have to explain a joke, it is no longer funny.
But it's not a joke. It's real.
It was real for me.
And real for millions of kids who watch Sesame Street and The Count, and Battleship.
How do you learn Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
Play rock-paper-scissors.
It's not a joke.
It's not sarcasm.
It is real.
Think logically.

1. That's what I am saying, it is logical,
2. but you could have said everything you have just elaborated in that post.
3. Making us understand is not gonna help that guy who blocked you understand.
1. It is logical to me too (because it was real). To me it was "self-evident".
2. I was blocked immediately. I wasn't given time to explain.
3. Your logic is flawed. I can't help him understand because he blocked me!
I think you are not getting the point. We are just trying to tell you why your opponent blocked you. We are not trying to prove you right or wrong. These are your lines "It's not a joke. It's not sarcasm. It is real." and what I can understand from this is that you are thinking that we are telling your statement is sarcasm. No. We are telling you the reason why that guy blocked you.
Think logically.

Exactly. You can't help him understand because he blocked you. That's what I'm trying to tell you.

Pay attention.
I was trying to explain my long lineage of understanding things. Long lineage that @Puzzleslolz knows nothing about.
The GPS you have in your phone is because
"Back in the Ronald Reagan days
when we put satellites in space . . ."
That's how you get your GPS.
I have to read a paper map. with Algebraic Notation. The maps have grids. ABCs on the bottom, 123 on the left.
I don’t live in Germany, I just like the flag’s colors
Do you have a Jerger wind-up clock made in Germany?
What chess experience do you have to compare to mine?
