People actually sign up for it to murder people across the ocean for complete lies. You don't murder, cripple, torture, and steal resources from countries which have never done harm to America. Aghanistan is not exactly an enlightened country with regard to women's rights, so if the farmers can't pay the warlords with cash they have to give them their daughters.
