goodbye OTF

I think this is my final goodbye, I have too many problems at home with my mom and constantly being screamed at, I’m not allowed to play basketball or water polo anymore, and my friends have dipped. Life is at an all time low, and I just feel like there is no point of living. I’ve tried waiting till 18 to leave home, but I can’t wait another 2 1/2 years. I’m on an iPad writing this, bc my mom got mad at me for missing an assignment for culinary, and sold my phone, along with my MacBook, and took all my saved money that I have worked for. I’m done trying to be my best constantly and done with life. Ik this seems dramatic or a cry for attention, but I want at least 1 person who might connect with this and learn from my mistakes to just feel understood, and hopefully not go down this path with me.

If he did close his account that’s really dangerous for his life. Most people who try to erase their existence is a sign of someone committing to taking their life.

Sadly in this scene it seems as though McDogYT was being erased by his mother. I hope he keeps himself safe and gets away from his mother.

I’m very, very sorry you’re going through this. A lot of people enjoy having you on here. Your mother honestly sounds pretty mean and completely irrational.

I mean, seriously? You miss ONE assignment, and she does all this?!

Please don’t let her get to you. Whatever she’s telling you isn’t true, because there are a ton of people on Chess.com who value you, from random OTFers, to the ones who comment on this thread. Even the real-life experiences you’ve helped create, interactions you’ve held, all of that would have been very different without you.

Whatever your psycho mother is saying and doing is not your fault. From your description, she sounds like an absolute lunatic. And, no matter how much she wants you to believe what she’s saying, it is certainly not true.

I don’t know your life. But please, keep trying to live it. Worst comes to worst, we’ll be here to support you if you need it.
