Poseidon, god of the sea and of earthquakes.

I don't think he was the ruler of earthquakes but he is the god of horses

lets not forget Hercule's the guy who had to take on 7 imposable tasks and the Hydra a 7 headed monster that when you chopped of one 2 grew in it's place Hercules took care of this by cauterizing them although it wasn't his idea it was his cousin? I think? and he killed it. no I don't have a life

Poseidon created horses but is he the God of them? Not sure...I think he was trying to impress Demetrius or her father or something like that. I also have never heard of Poseidon as ruler of earthquakes but his trident will shake the earth so maybe that is where that came from.

Poseidon is second in power only to Zeus also.

Just pointing out that Mars was the Roman god of war.    The Greek god of war was Ares

That's true.Ares (modern Greek= Άρης [pron. "áris"]) is the son of Zeus and Hera. Though often referred to as the god of warfare or bloodlust. And actually Aris (from aAristeidis) is my name (Άρης).Nice topic!!!
